The above costs are provided for comparison purposes only and are averages obtained from one or more websites in the United States. The majority of U.S. Rx brands are 10x in potency, with one Rx brand using a 9x potency in their formulation. Two OTC brands in the U.S. also contain a 10x potency in their formulations.

Products that contain an acetone odor are not included in this list and not recommended, as these enzymes are generally not palatable to most dogs long-term. The quality of these products also comes into question, as the majority of acetone-based enzymes originate from factories in China that can lack certain quality standards compared to U.S. and E.U. produced enzymes. For further information, view our pages on Alcohol based vs Acetone based enzymes and Rx vs OTC Enzymes.

**PancreVed has recently switched to using enzymes that are manufactured using acetone. This page can no longer recommend them for use.
